Originally from the tropical island of Mauritius, Oumira moved to Canada in 2016. She first settled in Bonnyville, where she worked as a Baker Assistant at Sobeys while also holding a part-time janitorial position at the local elementary school. She later moved to Lloydminster, gaining additional experience in customer service at a gas station and continuing her janitorial work with a cleaning company.

After relocating to Edmonton in 2021, Oumira completed her studies in Human Resource Management.

She joined Ironwood a year ago and is currently responsible for all cleaning and maintenance duties at Callaghan Court Apartments. She ensures the property remains clean, safe, and welcoming for residents, paying close attention to detail while fostering strong relationships with both tenants and management.

Outside of work, Oumira enjoys spending quality time with her family. She loves taking long drives, exploring nature—especially scenic mountain views during the summer—and has a passion for cooking and creating delicious desserts.
