John Dingman

Maintenance Technician

With over three decades of experience in the electrical and maintenance industries, John began his career as an electrician in 1989. He has worked extensively across Alberta, British Columbia, and the U.S., specializing in industrial electrical projects at refineries and large plants. His leadership roles have included electrical superintendent, general foreman, and foreman, with over 15 years spent working in Fort McMurray’s Oil Sands and eight years living in the community.

In addition to his industrial experience, John has over 20 years of residential and apartment maintenance expertise. He also successfully operated his own maintenance and landscaping company for six years, employing three full-time staff.

Known for his personable nature and tenant-first philosophy, John takes pride in building strong relationships—he remembers tenants by name, unit number, and even their pets.

Outside of work, John enjoys spending time with his two-year-old Shih Tzu, Waylon, and is passionate about cars, the Edmonton Oilers, and outdoor adventures like kayaking at local lakes.
